This hands-on class will teach you the basics of working with resin. Create your own 9"x14" cutting or serving board with a beautiful resin inlay, that will make an outstanding gift or addition to your own kitchen. All materials for this class will be provided and you may choose 1 of the 3 design options for your board. The designs will be cut using our CNC router, this class does not clear you to use the router, but there will be a short demo on how it works and its capabilities. Additionally, the instructor will also demonstrate how to finish your board after the resin cures (cure time is 24 hours). If necessary, there will be a follow up session on Sunday afternoon for anyone who would like assistance using the woodshop tools necessary to complete this project.

Young makers are welcome! Please be sure they are comfortable following any safety procedures of a workshop.

Please note: If you have a specific design in mind please let us know, however, there may be an additional design fee depending on the complexity of the design and the machine time required to carve it.
Face masks are required.
