Have you ever wanted to try throwing on a pottery wheel? Now is your chance!
A lesson will include how to prepare/wedge clay before throwing, how to safely operate the pottery wheel, basic hands-on demonstration/instruction of centering clay on the wheel and how to form a cylinder, basic knowledge of clay stages, and an hour or more of active throwing with professional guidance.
If you wish to glaze your own pottery after it is fired there will be an additional $20/per person fee, or you can choose the glaze color you want and it will be glazed for you.
All materials, such as clay and tools, will be provided.
